Psychodynamic therapy is a depth-oriented form of psychotherapy that explores unconscious emotional processes, early developmental experiences, and recurring relational patterns influencing present behaviour. Rather than focusing only on immediate symptoms, this approach examines how past experiences, attachment styles, coping defenses, and internal conflicts shape current emotional responses and relationships. The therapeutic relationship itself becomes a space where patterns can be safely understood, processed, and transformed.
